Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Cologne
Oscar, Sophia's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,400.

Oscar is my tabby kitten of eleven years. On 23 August we rushed to the Cologne Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,400.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $160 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Cologne Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $1,600
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $350
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $210
