Megumi needs a prosthetic leg that the health system will not fund; the cost is $4,100.

I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at Setagaya General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,100.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
