Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Ksenia in Odesa
Ksenia, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Odesa.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Odesa. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,200, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
hope it all works out, Ksenia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
