Farewell fund for Sofía: help Álvaro's family in Fresno
Álvaro lost his mother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $4,950.

Sofía, my mother, passed away on 27 June after a short illness. She was 47 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sofía to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $4,950 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,500
• Funeral home services and casket: $3,150
• Transport of the deceased: $300
