Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Jayson in Caloocan
Jayson, a single mother of three, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Caloocan.

I'm a single mother of three living in Caloocan. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $720, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope things get better soon, Jayson. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Take care. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this, Jayson. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon.
Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Konya but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Sending good thoughts, Jayson. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Ikeja so I could bring a meal.
