Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Aubree in Vancouver
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Vancouver?

I'm a single mother of three living in Vancouver. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,700, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there, Aubree. Hope you get there!
Hang in there, Aubree. Gave what I could, wish it was more
Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Hope it all works out, Aubree. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless
