Could you spare three weekday mornings to help repair a leaking roof in Málaga?

I'm a disabled veteran living in Málaga. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,000, which isn't something I can pay. The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings. Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks. The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Best of luck. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.

    • I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Badagry.

            • Hope it all works out, Aarón. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. After 20 years in social work I know how hard it is to ask for anything. All the best.
