Anushka is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Agra Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Anushka can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Anushka has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Anushka would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Anushka isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Agra Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $380 • Final term tuition: $450 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $40 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
