For six years I have run a laundry service in New Delhi. In August, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $250 goes: • Working capital for the first month: $75 • Shop repairs and licensing: $95 • Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $80 With deep gratitude, Jagadish

Sure. The biggest one is working capital for the first month, $75. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.

              • hope you make a strong comeback. After 16 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
