I served eight years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,100. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden. Where the $4,100 goes: • Essential household items: $270 • Housing deposit and first month: $1,400 • Training provider fees: $2,430 Thanks for reading all this. - Brandon

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Ikeja but we're thinking of you.
