Is there a gas fitter who can donate a few hours in Rochester?
Caleb has a septic backup, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In April an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,100 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $270.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you so much.

Keep going, Caleb. Gave what I could, wish it was more!
You're not alone, Caleb. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
