Ugo needs my ride-share car repaired to get back to work in Messina
Ugo drives for a living in Messina, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 5 weeks.
🇮🇹 Sicily, Italy926 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 5 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $950 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $560
• Labor charges: $155
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $100
• Towing and inspection: $135
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
