Help me pay for palate reconstruction surgery at Los Angeles University Hospital
After gallstones with repeated infections, Daniel was cleared for palate reconstruction surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In March I was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections. My surgeon at Los Angeles University Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for May. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $11,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $5,900 short.
Doctors at Los Angeles University Hospital told me gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. I work as a warehouse packer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $11,750 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a warehouse packer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. I'll not be able to look after the children alone during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
