Jamal's cataract surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled cataract surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $1,150 of the cost.

Jamal was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in August. The surgeon at Rabat Regional Medical Center recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,550, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,150 short.
my father has been in and out of Rabat Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,550 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jamal struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Jamal won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
