Two weekends of roof repair for Parvati, a disabled veteran in Lalitpur
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Lalitpur?

I'm a disabled veteran living in Lalitpur. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $260, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Parvati. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Dharan but we're thinking of you. Blessings
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 22 people at work. God bless.
Rooting for you, Parvati. Your post was clear and honest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
