Two weekends of roof repair for Muhammad, a disabled veteran in Quetta
The roof at Muhammad's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Quetta. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $410, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Quetta.
thanks for sharing this, Muhammad. Your post was clear and honest. I hope December is when things finally get easier. God bless
Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Wish I lived closer to Leicester so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Muhammad. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Mangaluru.
