I earned a place in Grade 9 at Addis Ababa Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have. I love mathematics and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $150 goes: • Laptop: $60 • School uniform and shoes: $15 • Textbooks and workbooks: $40 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Almaz

      • Thinking of you, Almaz. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best!
