Alka earned a place in Year 11 at Mumbai Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have.
Alka loves biology and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.

• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25
