Yakubu is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at the Ikeja Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $350.
The registrar has said Yakubu can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Yakubu has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Yakubu would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Yakubu isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Ikeja Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $350 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $300
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.

Rooting for you. Study hard! Thinking of Ikeja.
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Cape Town.
Praying for you, Obiageli. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
