Surgery fund for Zoya: ACL reconstruction in Karachi
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in August is out of reach without help covering $800 of the cost.

Zoya was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in May. The surgeon at Karachi University Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,350, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $800 short.
my mother has been in and out of Karachi University Hospital since May. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,350 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Zoya struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Zoya won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
