Tuition fund for Victoria: a diploma in hospitality management at Manchester Polytechnic
A first-generation student, Victoria needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a diploma in hospitality management at Manchester Polytechnic, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $5,450.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Manchester Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,450 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,750
• Exam and lab fees: $250
• Final term tuition: $2,450
