Gas shut-off notice: help Jack pay $600
A disconnection notice for gas arrived and Jack needs $600 before November.

The gas account is 2 months behind. Jack received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $600 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in August.
Jack called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $165 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Jack is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
