Tuition fund for Swati: a degree in social work at Aurangabad State College

Swati is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Aurangabad State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000. The registrar has said Swati can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Swati has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Swati would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Swati isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $1,000 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $450 • Final term tuition: $470 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $35 Thanks for being kind about this.
