Tuition fund for Santiago: a master's in public health at the Gatineau Institute of Technology
Santiago has worked and saved for four years to study a master's in public health; a $3,100 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at the Gatineau Institute of Technology, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,100.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Gatineau Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,100 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $90
• Textbooks and materials: $90
• Final term tuition: $2,920
