Ezekiel, my uncle, passed away on 4 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 91 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 11 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ezekiel to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $2,000 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,400 • Memorial gathering for the family: $410 • Transport of the deceased: $190 Ask me anything below before you decide.
