Friendly visitor needed for a 79-year-old neighbor in Rio de Janeiro

I'm writing for my neighbor Ricardo, who's 79. Ricardo lives alone in Rio de Janeiro, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Ricardo loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Tuesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting.
