Tuition fund for Ochieng: a law degree at Dar es Salaam Polytechnic

Ochieng is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Dar es Salaam Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $400. The registrar has said Ochieng can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ochieng has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ochieng would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Ochieng isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Dar es Salaam Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $400 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $15 • Final term tuition: $370 Every share and every dollar helps.
