Tuition fund for Makoto: a diploma in hospitality management at Yokohama University
A first-generation student, Makoto needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a diploma in hospitality management at Yokohama University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,650.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Yokohama University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Final term tuition: $1,750
• Exam and lab fees: $175
• Outstanding tuition balance: $725
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

as a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Puebla.
