Njoroge received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Njoroge needs $600 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Entebbe.

After a sudden layoff at the packaging plant, Njoroge fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $600.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, the family must leave.
There are 3 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Njoroge has started working evenings as a cleaner, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $600 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $120
• Rent arrears (2 months): $450
• Utilities in arrears: $30
