Tuition fund for Ingrid: a pharmacy diploma at the Rio de Janeiro Institute of Technology
Ingrid has worked and saved for four years to study a pharmacy diploma; a $1,500 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at the Rio de Janeiro Institute of Technology, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,000
• Final term tuition: $410
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $50

take care, Ingrid. This could happen to any of us. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Dresden.
Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Sheffield!
You're not alone, Ingrid. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Rome.
Stay strong, Ingrid. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update.

Praying for you, Ingrid. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
