My sister Mio has been accepted for treatment at the Nagoya Cancer Centre in Nagoya, starting on Thursday in April. We live 561 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Mio and me. We can contribute $125 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Mio will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

sending love, Asuka. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care

    • Hang in there, Asuka. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 8 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Thane.

Sending good thoughts. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

          • Stay strong, Asuka. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Greetings from Riyadh
