I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Quezon City State College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $450.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Quezon City State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $450 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Outstanding tuition balance: $410
• Textbooks and materials: $15

Best of luck, Corazon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Take care, Corazon. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
