Help Anjali patch the roof before the autumn rains
Anjali, a widowed grandmother, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Thane.

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Thane. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $390, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
Good luck, Anjali. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon.
So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
