The old Acacia bus depot needs a rainwater harvesting system - Stanisław's neighborhood project
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the old Acacia bus depot that will serve 207 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,250.
It will serve about 207 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Stanisław.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. permits and inspections is the biggest at $85. Thanks, that means a lot.
