Let's build a skate park together in Saint Paul
A community-led a skate park at the Acacia health centre yard that will serve 239 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,650.
It will serve about 239 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Materials: $2,550
• Permits and inspections: $270
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Tools hire and delivery: $510
