The Maple vacant lot needs a solar-powered water pump - Sylvie's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $2,450 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,450.
It will serve about 409 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
