Max, Cristina's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $700.

Max is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 17 August we rushed to Tijuana Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $700.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Max is more than a pet - Max got me through my hardest year. I have already put $70 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Tijuana Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
Where the $700 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $115
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
• Emergency surgery: $530
