A community-led a covered market stall space at the Maple community hall that will serve 170 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,950.
It will serve about 170 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Materials: $910
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $570
Glad we found this place.

Wanted to say thank you properly. 42% funded and I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts.
Update from Allentown: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 18% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
