Ollie's a tumor on the spleen: help with the vet bill
Ollie, Wayne's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $550.

Ollie is my rabbit of six years. On 22 October we rushed to the Durban Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Durban Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80
• Emergency surgery: $390
