The Maple community hall needs a community garden - Julieta's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $3,350 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,350.
It will serve about 444 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Permits and inspections: $120
• Safety equipment and signage: $130
• Tools hire and delivery: $250
