Arun is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Pune Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Arun can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Arun has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Arun would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Arun isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Pune Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
