Let's build a skate park together in Howrah
Volunteers in Howrah are raising $100 for a skate park at the Harmony vacant lot.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $100.
It will serve about 393 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
• Permits and inspections: $25
