The Cedar health centre yard needs a playground - Gemma's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $550 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 126 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
