Emergency vet bill for Simba in Gqeberha
Simba, Annelie's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $400.

Simba is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 10 June we rushed to Gqeberha Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba got me through my hardest year. I have already put $70 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Gqeberha Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $200
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $135
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $25

Emergency surgery is $200 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
