Multan
My family left Afghanistan 12 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Multan. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in October. I was a teacher in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. Funds are managed by the Multan Refugee Support Network, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf. Where the $600 goes: • Winter clothing and school supplies: $80 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $35 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $180 • Rent deposit and first month: $305 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Yasir

  1. Update from Multan: the plan for beds, table and basic furniture is now scheduled. We're at 9% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
