Let's build a skate park together in Utrecht

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,300. It will serve about 373 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $2,300 goes: • Materials: $1,650 • Permits and inspections: $110 • Safety equipment and signage: $165 • Tools hire and delivery: $375 I hope life is good to you.
