Ling was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in June. The surgeon at Anaheim University Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $11,000, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $7,700 short.
my wife has been in and out of Anaheim University Hospital since June. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $11,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ling struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
