Stop the eviction: 4 months of rent for Eko's family in Depok

After the closure of the factory, Eko is 4 months behind on rent and has a notice to vacate from the landlord.

Depok
When the warehouse closed in April, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $450. My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave. I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else. I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here. Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent. Where the $450 goes: • Rent arrears (4 months): $230 • Late fees and court costs: $50 • First month of rent as a buffer: $170 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Eko.

    • Eko Andi BudimanOwnerAnswer

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rent arrears (4 months) comes first ($230) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
