Lola is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lola was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in June. The oncology team at the Ibadan Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Lola is 47, worked as a bank teller until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Ibadan Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $350 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $210
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60
• Transport to the Ibadan Oncology Institute: $80
