Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Caio's family in Curitiba
The closure of the factory left Caio short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When the bakery closed in March, Caio fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $1,300.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Caio has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,050
• Late fees and court costs: $70
• Utilities in arrears: $50
• First month of rent as a buffer: $130
